Tuning?

I'm sure this answer is somewhere in this thread but... I put on Berk hfcs and ark exhaust, do you think its worth tuning or would it be a waste of money. Does it kill the warranty if tuned?

YES Tunes you are flowing more air over the O2 sensors, I would be do it just to be safe, What Warrenty? The factory? they would look at the HFC's first.

How much should it be to tune it? Whats a good price?

anthonyy 08-14-2012 06:04 PM

around $600 for your first time
around $300 each time after that

It depends what the shop charges per hour to tune, it shouldn't take more than two hours the first time you get it done. The license is $300 or $350 can't remember. Once you have the license you can have it tuned wherever you like, as long as they have an Uprev cable.

The Osiris license is $300. We currently offer Osiris tuning for $495 in our area some of the other Nissan shops are around $600. We do multiple applications so we probably keep the rollers spinning more than some of the other guys. Re-tunes are addressed on a case by case basis. If the customer goes from N/A to boosted, thats a pretty significant change and will generally require another several hours of dyno time. Each tuner is different of course!

I was previously using HP Tuners for my Solstice, but this seems a lot like it?
Once Flashed, it seems that you can select which flash to run? How is this completed and when you take it to the dealer, can they tell?

Totally agree! You should definitely tune it so it has better flow. As for the warranty... doesn't matter if you tune it or not... once they see you don't have a stock HFC on the car... its over.

Up til today I still don't understand why Cobb discontinued the accessport for the Nissan?!
