Tuned or untuned? How did you get your Cat's to a ready state? |
FI non res, MD art pipes and uprev tuned. I turned my Catalyst sensors on at the tuner. Sometimes I get "cat inefficiency" when I drive hard because I'm catless, but I reset, drive around and wait for all my monitors to be in ready state.
Invest in an OBDII scanner. I use PLX kiwi wifi 2 and DashCommand. edit: I hardly get "cat inefficiency", but it does show up from time to time. It's not a stored code. |
hmm, I am uprev tuned with art pipes, but I assume my sensors are bypassed. I don't want to detune again prior to inspection in March. I was failed and sent to a MAC which sucked to swap all my sh## out.
The guy at the MAC center told me Massachusetts is cracking down on tuned cars. Any flashes to the rom and they can typically tell. You are allowed 1 -2 sensors or incidents on a rolling basis before being "selected" like I was in my 3rd year of being tuned(passing with excpetions the 1st two years) |
Invest in a scanner tool and call it a day. I'm more worried about my test pipes than uprev to be quite honest.
