UpRev @ SpecialtyZ

Seb is currently tuning the car.

Only mods K&N Drop in filter and AAM S Line Short Tails.
Baseline was at 286whp/230trq with AAM only.

The K&N installed and it ended up at 290whp/237trq

There's about 4-5whp/7-8trq gain from just the filters.

Right now were @ 292.7whp/241.02trq
With just the AAM Short Tails and KN Filters. I'm very surprised how much the difference is.

Overall I couldn't be happier that I drove almost 3 hours to visit Seb's Specialty Z.

Seb really knows his stuff. For a basic cat delete and drop ins I was able to get decent amount of gains across the whole power band. I'll post my dyno sheet when I get home tonight.

Fantastic. Regained the huge amount of torque I lost from AAM Short Tails. The car runs very smoothly. Acceleration is brisk and immediate without the usual hesitation and keeps pulling up to 7800 RPM. Definitely recommend Specialty Z to anyone looking to get UpRev done. The 3 hour drive was worth it.

He also adjusted

Fan speed
Rev Limiter
Idle RPM

And Added 5 maps

91 Octane Tuned
Fuel Efficient
Anti-Theft
Vallet
Stock

I got my car tune by Seb on Friday. The extra stop on my way down to San Diego for the weekend was well worth it. My 40th ended up with 305 WHP. I have drop in filters, Invidia exhaust and Motordyne ART pipes. The setup with the 5 maps is really nice and I got a chance to test the fuel efficiency map on the drive from San Diego to San Luis Obispo (5 hours) and it seemed to help a lot. Not sure how much yet as I have not refilled yet, but I have a lot more fuel dots lit up than normal the distance I drove. I think at least 1 or 2 MPG than before. Will verify once I fill up.

Highly Recommend Specialty Z.

Why did you have to go so far? You could have also gone to Church's?

Or is it that you have a reason to believe Specialty Z has a better tuner than Church's?

Just curious because you traveled quite a bit more up north to get to Specialty Z instead of going to Church's in Wilmington/Carson which is A LOT closer.

Seb is coming to the frozen north next month for a Specialty Z tuning meet... can't wait to see the gains on our cars!

I've been recommended by friends. Plus the drive wasn't so bad. I had a great time doing other things up in LA. Boiling Crab FTMFW!!

I've spoken with Seb and he recommended doing an oil change and a tune afterwards when I hit 1000 Miles.

I think I'll do the oil change, F.I. and a tune all at his shop when I hit 1000 miles.

I have like 100 miles to go :) :driving:
