Hi,
Is it possible to get 35 hp AT and 40 hp MT on a stock 370z by upreving?
I found a garage in my country (United Arab Emirates, Dubai) how clime that they can do it for me they called chipcentric.

Can you tell me your opinion guys?

It will be closer to 10hp unless your tune is currently way off. On my tune I got 1hp, but the drivability went from crap to awesome.

I've never heard of that much. Most of the posts I read about a stock Z being uprev'ed say they get 10 or less hp, but that throttle response is much better and the car feels more responsive and alive. Now if you had a lot of bolt ons then MAYBE you could get something around there, but even then thats kinda high. I call BS.

Even I was not sour about this numbers, but my brother gust tolled me upreved his 2010 6.2l caprice royal in the same place and he get 46 hp.

I don't know anything about caprices. That could be possible because it's not a performance car and the stock ECM tune is probably not very efficient at all. I would still be dubious. But the Z is a pure sport car, it comes very well setup from the factory, which is why it's more difficult to squeeze NA hp out of it.

Go to the uprev website and find the nearest licensed tuner, give them a call and see what they say.

on the 370Z, no.

Gains will vary between different platforms -- you can't base expectations for gains on the VQ37HR based on gains achieved on a completely different engine.

I would make whatever bolt-on modifications you intend to make first, and then go for a tune.

I just got tuned today with uprev, got about 7whp 7wtq from the tune. no way will u get what they claim. my car only has g3's and berk exhaust. I think for a tune on an na car the gains I got are great! sorry to say but you will not gain 40 hp from a tune on this platform.
