getting tuned at specialty z 3/24!!

just another tune thread, but what the hell:) all my car has is berk cbe and Stillen g3's. I'm not expecting a huge gain but would love the piece of mind that my car is running at peak performance for the parts installed. I'm thinking my car will put down 290-300 whp, fingers crossed. what u think I should get? by the way seb has wonderful customer service!!

3/24
update: just got home from specialty z. the base run in 4th gear, my car put down:
293whp 238wtq.
after tuning the car put down(in 4th gear)
299whp 244wtq.
last run after final tweaks ( in 5th gear)
308whp 255wtq.

the car feels fantastic, smoother, better throttle response, great midrange and top end power. the whp gains are consistent from 2k rpm all the way to redline.

300WHP sounds realistic providing the stock cats dont hold you back to much. make sure to post up your results! He is going to be tuning my ride!

will do, unfortunately I don't have any stock dyno numbers but I will have the before and after tune with the intakes and exhaust. in not expecting much gains but we will see!

Your numbers will also depend on the type of dyno. I was expecting 300-320 with my mods ans ended up with 274 on a Mustang dyno. Dynojet will put out higher numbers.
Like you said though, getting the power tweaked all the way out of your mods is what your tune should be about.

My car did 278whp on their dyno stock IIRC

I'm not going for all out numbers. if I don't hit what I expect it's ok, just really want the added security of knowing my car is running properly. if I gain a little power, it would be a bonus.

The first time I had my car tuned and dyno'ed at SpecialtyZ, I had G3 intakes, Berk HFCs, a Tanabe Y pipe, and Seb's tune. I ended up putting down 309whp and 259ftlbs of torque, which is right inline with what the average of other 370Zs with similar mods run on that dyno. You should be hitting right around 300whp assuming a decent correction factor. Oh, and Seb is the man! You will love your tune

thanks for the input, those are some good numbers for the mods listed. so far seb has been great and I haven't met him yet. hopefully he can work the same magic for my car as well!

Just the way my right pedal react now after tune was worth the tune. No more hesitation or responding whenever the ECU thought you wanted more gas.
