as for the oversized TB and CAI , yes it did help getting power from the dyno graph I got earlier this year even if the car was apparently running of the knock timing map. My baseline(fully stock) on the dynapack was 256whp up to 324whp *SAE* . this is quite an improvement , but I was expecting to see a bigger number on the dynojet. I'm planing to go back on the same dynojet next March/April for some test again with the HR intake manifold and the OEM one. |
wow. thats without the HR manifold? Not sure about the HP gains but I'm sure you'll torque will see a big bump.
where did you get your tb rebored? |

I just want to do a proper test with the dynojet with and without the HR manifold.. !:) but im gonna have to redo some spot on the MAF table and fuel comp. because as soon as I installed the HR intake manifold back on the Z ... the afr was all over the place !! so its making 2 tune for each mod before going on the dyno and not waste too much $$ dyno time. as for the TB ,, I had a shop in toronto doing the job and some tweak done on the shaft and buttlefly plate |
2 summers ago I went to one of those 3 pulls for $50 + food things. I made 276Hp, 279hp & 282hp on my last pull. No mods were changed. What did I learn? Bapkis (sp:)(French:) Making changes at the track helped me the most.
