Uprev Osiris Standard - DIY?

How does it work? Do you connect the Cable to the OBD and just load the
flash from Uprev? I live in Europe and cant find any shop who does it.

Does this really work where i fill in my mods and then get the optimal tune? I will beenchmark my car but dont have any expeceince from it myself.

My mods:
Xforce catback exhuast 2,5"
HFC Kinetix
Stillen Gen 3 CAI or Drop In High flow air filters (soon)

You need to purchase the cable first. The Uprev or The pro shop you purchased from will send you a base map. You can then run the car and log it and try some E tunes. Or you can find a dyno in the arear and have it dyno tuned. But after 3 E tunes your A/F should be good.

The Osiris is very easy to use.

So i cant just Tell them what mods i have and get the best tune?

If i visit à shop With a dyno, can i just try out the different etunes? Dont sant to pay for several dyno Times...

Your best bet is to data log your car and send them the logs or dyno. There are a lot of variables that come into play when attempting to get the best tune.

I just blew my warranty for nothing. I bought the Uprev Osiris Standard a couple of weeks ago. I did four 0 to 60 runs and emailed my data to uprev. I got my etune the very next day. I reflashed my ecu and IT TOTALLY SCREWED MY CAR UP. There is a steady knock at idle, sounds like a clock ticking. The Check Engine light is on and the car will not go over 10 MPH. I was lucky to crawl back to my driveway. I reflashed the ecu back to stock but the car is not the same. It ran sluggish before and now it's even worse.

there we go another old post brought up...

I will copy paste my response too ;)

seem like you came back on this forum to bitch on uprev but it seem your mentioned in 2013 about your Pingning issues with the stock ecu according to your post.. now with Uprev. you used an e-tune which isnt very great and a dyno tune was recommended to you in a previous post but you still went for an e-tune. you might need a couple more to dial in a better tune.. this is why Uprev used to give 3-etune with a purchase of their liscense. (no for the Tuner version)

so I would probably look at something else if I was you....

way to go to bring old post from 2010 / 2011 and 2013 ...! hehe

it really seems like you are an ecutek lover without mentioning it..... trying to bash on Uprev lol

seems like he's just pissed in general

He tried to DIY tune and failed. Definitely should have made that clear in his initial postings. As has been mentioned, the tuning software is only as good as the tuner using it. He needs to have someone else tune it for him.

But I'm not clear why you guys are being hard on him for bringing up old threads - better than starting a new thread in most cases. Also, he mentioned last night that this is a 2014 red Z and not his old black Z, so those criticisms about previous bitching are kind of irrelevant. Just my thoughts :twocents:
