it's a reflash from what i've read the mention new top secret ecu which is a bad translation they missed tune it's top secrets new reflash software. yes sir please charge me four times as much as uprev or cobb for the same thing.

edit right from the site:Not only is the legendary Smoky coming to Import Reactor to host a Q & A panel and autograph session, he will tune 20 Nissans with his new program called Top Secret PROcess. This tune is almost unbelievable. The maps add power, alter the response and other parameters and change the driving experience of the car dramatically, on the stock ECU.

Yeah, just wondering if it really is a miracle tune or if it's just marketing. Not saying I believe in a "miracle tune" but I just wonder how good it really is. I just can't help thinking that if I paid $1200 it would be disappointed in the end. Also after seeing the prices of the Japanese parts in yen or w/e it's called and then converting that price to USD it doesn't surprise me it costs that much. In Japan if you can afford a 370z then you can afford all the parts associated with it is the way they think.

This is what I read on the HI site. Doesn't really matter either way since my car is stock :\

I got all the same sh*t for $500. Well technically I got it for free since my car was used to develop it. $1,200 is a nightmarish rip :shakes head:

It's just marketing. My car was ECU reflash tuned to the distance of around 700 dyno miles of testing. All the maps and codes cracked direct from Japan as they (in Japan) had my actual ECU for a time.

Personally I would never pay that for a tune but hey... if you wanna be a baller, to each their own.

Once the official schedule is released I will see about making it to the tuning session, no promises between work & school. I will be at IR showing my car, but I do not think Smokey will be there.
