Cable License Error 00 (UpRev)
 

Anyone know what causes this error when trying to flash ECU? I have an ARC license and it’s a brand new cable.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is there an Uprev license currently on the ECU?

I’m not sure. All I’ve done is data log.

In the Flash License(s) field it just says “license used”.

I'm fairly certain you don't have a reflash license. The ARC license is an upgrade that unlocks so additional features, you still need a reflash license to flash the ECU. Connect to ECU with Rom Editor and post a screenshot of what it shows and I can confirm for you

Mine says the same thing yours does except it says I have one ARC license. Under reflash license it says “license used” just like the pic you posted. I’ll post a screen shot as soon as I’m home.

If it also says "stock ECU" then you need to buy a reflash license before you can flash the ECU

Thanks for your help. I’m completely new to tuning. One thing is I bought a flash license from Z1 but I have no idea how to use it or get it to my computer lol.
