Can't switch maps(Accel/coast buttons not working)

So i recently had a zspeed stage 4 6 puck and cmak kit installed to prepare my car for boost, since then i have been unable to switch maps using the accel/coast buttons. I can turn on the cruise button and the green light turns on however i cannot go up or down to switch maps. I am tuned on ECUTEK and holding cancel does indicate it is on map 1. I tried adjusting the lower clutch pedal sensor in further aswell as making sure the top one is fully pressed in with my finger and it still wouldn't switch maps. if anyone has any input on this would be much appreciated i'm guessing its a simple fix just not sure what it could be.

I thought you switched maps with cruise off? Hold down Cancel and toggle the accel/coast button?
(I was researching for a future tune.)

yup you switch with cruise off, its just that my up and down button doesn't work after the clutch install.

Ok. I read it as you were switching with cruise on.
I'll go away, now.

Adjust your clutch pedal switches. Does your cruise control work? Sounds like it doesn't.

i haven't tried to see if cruise actually works, should i adjust the top one aswell? i moved in the lower one closer but didn't seem to do anything.

Yes, you have to adjust both. The top one is the one that tells the ECU when the clutch is being depressed. If it is constantly open, no cruise control. The bottom one is used to tell
the car that the clutch is fully depressed which will allow the car to start.

:iagree:

The top one is used to determine when the clutch pedal starts to depress, so the computer can turn off cruise before the clutch disengages. You want to make sure the stop on the pedal is fully depressing the switch while the clutch pedal is at rest.

For the bottom switch, you want to make sure that it is adjusted such that the clutch pedal travel fully disengages the clutch before the switch is fully depressed by the stop on the pedal.

awesome thanks, appreciate all the information, how certain do you think the issue is the switch's? maybe something isn't fully connected under the car from when the clutch was changed? i think it is the top switch as i didn't adjust it.

They're easily adjusted and not an uncommon issue. Good first troubleshooting step :twocents:

Why would you think something is disconnected from under the car?

It is the most common issue after a clutch change.

ended up being a very simple fix witch was just reflashing my tune onto the car.
