Uprev knock sensitivity

1 Attachment(s)
Anyone know how to reduce the knock sensitivity on UPrev,my knock reads off the scale, 26500, and pulls the timing from 20 Deg to 15 deg, see log file., or is there anyway to disable knock. I cant see that 20 deg is to high for this vehicle, even with octane booster, knock still occurs.

2009 370z manual N/A

prob not a good idea to disable knock if it's not false knock. don't ignore the problem ; try to work with it and make it go away the proper way

Any idea what would cause false knock, must be external, even octane booster vehicle still knock..could a std cat that has been hollowed out cause this ..causing back ground noise.
Anyone familiar with knock listening threshold on Uprev and the adjustment thereof..

Send me a PM I'll help you out with this when I have a moment. Each case is special and needs to be handled with care.

If you have a lightweight flywheel it can cause the knock sensors to go off

Glad to see you got this fixed. I had Jon at Z1 do the same thing for my Z a couple years ago when I had it. A bunch of false knock going on all the time, when all temps were nominal and with 110 octane fuel.
Now that I think about it, it probably was the lightweight flywheel.
