370Z Nitrous Tune
Recently just bought a 2011 370Z after being separated from my 350Z for too long.
I've already purchased Z1 Intakes, Motordyne ART Test Pipes, Greddy Evo GT CB Exhaust, and I'm planning on going with an ECUTEK tune done by a local tuner that works with Nissans and Infinitis all day. My challenge is that my tuner doesn't have any experience with nitrous and it seems like not many people are running it in my area. I'm not looking to get roasted or be told 100 reasons not to run nitrous and buy a twin turbo kit instead. I'm hoping to hear from some of you that either run nitrous or have tuned a 370z running nitrous. It makes me nervous that my tuner doesn't have experience in that department. Recommended upgrades to make before buying a nitrous kit? Fuel Injectors? I'm currently looking at a Zex kit and planning to run a 75 shot. Anything else I should make myself aware of? Any recommendations on a solid tuner in Arizona? Thanks in advance to anyone that responds. |
You’ll get some positive feedback from folks around who has it or has had it; sounds like you’re staying in the safety zone with a 75...as a local tuner near me likes to tune them in on the Dyno.
You may consider swapping out your plugs for a step colder,,,but people who’s ran lots of bottles through there’s can fill you in on a much more detailed list of things to get. Good Luck! |
I ran nitrous on my 350z ... I used a wet kit and ran 125 shot with one step colder plugs with no issues ... I don’t see why it wouldn’t be any different with a 370z ... you can dial it in yourself with a AFR guage
