Pre-tune maintenance

Hi guys,

I'm planning to get uprev tuned next week and was wondering if anyone performed any special maintenance to get the most out of their tune?

I'm at roughly 60k miles and noticed the car running a bit sluggishly the last couple of months (it could be b/c I never tuned after intake/exhaust and I'm just noticing now).

Anyhow, should I replace any lubricants/spark plugs/clean sensors/etc...?

I usually run 91 in my car but am considering switching to 93. Do you think it's necessary to switch to 93 going forward?

Also, I read that uprev has a couple of maps that could be programmed; what do you guys suggest?

The mods going into the tune will be as follows:
southbend clutch/flywheel/zspeed hd CSC
motordyne shockwave/art pipes/stillen gen 3's

TIA!

1) Clean your MAFs/Throttle Bodies.
2) If you want to maximize power from your tune, switch to 93.
3) Search is your friend.

What JLarson said.

If you're feeling ambitious, you might want to check the spark plugs.

I'd go with the highest octane I could reliably get.

I would install a fresh set of A/F ratio sensors, OEM.
