Remote tuning?

Hello!

I am having a dilemma here. I am living in Latvia and closest "decent" tuner who has worked on our enignes is 300 miles (500km) away and tunes with UpRev. Is it worth driving that far for dyno tune or am I better off finding someone who does tunes remotely?

Thanks for replies in advance

It all depends if you have mods on the car and how much HP and TQ you like to make. It will be always better to dyno tune your car. With a remote tune you will need to do street pulls and send data to the tuner. It is up to you what you thinks will work best for you. Also I know some tuners you can set time and date and be on the dyno and run the car that way and work with them that way.

In the end if you think the tuner is good enough for what you like to get out of the tune i will say go to a tuner.

For a DD, a remote tune will give you the most smiles per euro. If you plan on racing, a dyno tune is your best bet.

Thank you for your advices! I think I'll go with Seb from SpecialtyZ and a remote tune!

I am thinking of doing the same, going with Seb with an eTune.

Here in Adelaide we have next to no tuners who have worked on a Nissan 370Z and definitely 0 who have done FI on a 370Z . Closest one to me would be Melbourne, which is 450 miles away. But they have tuned plenty of boosted Zs over there albeit only with UpRev AFAIK.

The common denominator here is call Seb. True story.

Will do.
