Anyone had issue with Uprev Launch Control?
 

Has anyone had issues with the launch control from Uprev? My tuner put the launch control on and the issue we are having is once it is activated the launch control by WOT, afterward go on a normal driving and it is not able to get passed the launch control rpm (3200 rpm) . It looks like the launch control is stuck on the map. It also overrides my Valet map as well. I will have to switch to a map , then shut the car off for a few second, and then it will go back to normal. We contacted Uprev and they are trying to figure out the issue as well. Any advice appreciated.

My car is actually doing this same exact thing. You're not alone. I'm hoping to bring it back, have him reflash and hopefully it will solve this.

Haven't really played with the launch control but I'll give it a try tomorrow and see if the same thing happens.

That's good to know. I thought i was the only one. We reflashed it many time and used different rom file as well.

I was happy to hear that I wasnt alone either, but now sad that youve flashed again with no luck.
Have you reflashed since they released the update?

Yes we have. Uprev sent us a ROM file that was used on one of their Z and we still have no luck to it. My tuner had a Z coming in this Saturday for Uprev tune and he will put that on it and see if it work.

So it looks like it works properly with synchro rev Z. I am not sure if there a different ROM file that for non-synchro...

But i actually have a synchro rev Z. It does not work properly on my car. Im gonna try and see if my car has any codes later today. My car doesn't have a CEL light, but im curious

Uprev got a new update for the software and we downloaded a new Rom. Now it work perfectly .

Launch control on my G works but it isn't adjustable.... Hopefully my tuner finds a fix soon

Finally got around to playing with it the other day and no problems whatsoever that way. All good.

That's interesting, contact Uprev tech support, I believe his name is Omar, they may know what is wrong with it.

The issue I'm having issues with my car when it comes to getting it to engage the launch control. Oil temps are 160+ clutch engaged in first gear. When i mash the throttle the car just redlines or after 4 tries it will engage for a split second before redlining anyone else have this issue? Am i missing a step, does traction control need to be off for this function to work?
