UpREV new features

I just updated my uprev.

I download a new base ROM: 1EL5B.

I just copied all tuning data, and.....

Now there is a Launch Control Option !!!!:tup:

Someone know how it's setup !?

There are other "news" about? (I.E. knock alert)

must be an across the pond update. ive had launch control for a bit now.

so to engage launch control, turn off traction control. place the e-brake up. clutch in, into 1st, spike the throttle to the floor and it just peg at 4k, flip the cruise up and down to adjust the red line.

its finicky where you cant roll the throttle you need to put it right down.

uprev launch control and new features

there are more features on the way very soon, flat footshifting with adaptive rev, and gauge hijacking. also, no need to have e-brake on when launching :rofl2: just watch the how-to video on UpRev's FB page, it tells you what you need to do.

This is incorrect information. You only need to have the engine up to temp, the car in 1st, clutch in, and mash the go pedal.

I just added this feature and it's fun as hell. Any idea how damaging it is on the clutch? Been launching it really sparingly on the oem clutch.

It's rough on it. When i got my Ecutek i was showing off for my friends but I've since calmed down about it. My clutch definitely has less bite then before. Currently saving $$$ for a whole upgrade replacement.

Any excuse to change out the pos factory clutch is a good excuse in my book - and this excuse is better than most :p

Thanks for the great info!

I currently have this function installed on my car aas well, the issue is I can't get it to engage the launch control. Oil temps are 160+ clutch engaged in first gear. When i mash the throttle the car just redlines or after 4 tries it will engage for a split second before redlining  anyone else have this issue?

When you push the gas, you must go to full down and listen a little "click" of a switch.

....and.....

The feature was visible in the begin, but starts to work after I payed the licence and I copyed my ROM in the new one.....

I read in Facebook that this monday (12/09/16) UpREV will release a new version of ROM Editor to manage direcly the licence on ARC.
