UpRev Tune with 4.08 gears

Anyone have a UpRev tune with 4.08 gears?

If so, wondering what your numbers are?

What numbers?

Gearing does not increase horsepower.

Yeah I know, but I am getting around 300 on a dyno with FI LTH, FI exhaust, Stillen CAI, Z1 Motorsports Upper Plenum, Nismo GT Pro LSD and 4.08 gears

The shop that did the dyno said I dropped from 311 to 300 after the install of the 4.08, and due to a shorter dyno run in 5th gear, caused the WHP to drop to 300

I have an appointment scheduled with UpRev in Austin on June 2nd to redo the tune and have it dyno again

Just was wondering what others were getting on a dyno with the 4.08 gears.

My numbers don't sound right to me

Dyno numbers are just that... numbers. How does the car FEEL? Go run a 1/4 and see what your trap speed is. That is the best way to tell if the car is making the power.

Every dyno is different, conditions are never the same, etc. There are just too many variables that come into play.

I wouldn't worry about the final numbers since every dyno is different. Having said that, if you're wondering if its normal to dyno lower with the 4.08's than with stock gearing then the answer is yes.
