370Z who have already been tuned - post data if poss?

Could you list up your mods, your base WHP / WTRQ and final HP/TQ figures, also a list of mods.

Data I am after is...
IDC (injector Duty cycle)
MAF Feedback (V)
MAF flow (g/s)
Total timing (degs)
IAT (intake air temps)
AFR (air fuel ratio) WB if avaliable.

Thats it, not looking to reverse engineer anything here, just looking at some future plans and gaining some insight.

My tune achieved 299.3 rwhp and 243.2 torque and I started at 283.2 hp and 235.3 torque (all SAE corrected). The dyno was done on a dynojet 248 in 4th gear. 5th gear was tried but ran into two problems: 5th gear brings the speed close to 160 (especially when the rev limit is changed) and this dyno only goes to 150 and uprev recommended 4th gear as the dyno puts too much load onto the 5th gear.

My observations: Dynoing really isn't an exact science as heat soak (especially in aluminum engines) starts almost right away and can throw everything off. So unless you have the time to let the the engine cool for at least 30 minutes between runs I believe the readings will be off somewhat.

My mods: Berk HFCs, R2C intake with Modshack vent mod, and smaller, lighter crank. The Modshack vent mod is great and intake air temps are never more than 8 degrees above the ambient temp.

Thanks jpit - do you have any log data to go with your pulls? especially the items in original post?
Thx

I have a program that can read that data through the obd port but that was being used by the tuner and I am not sure if it is available to him while he is tuning. I assume the ignition advance is. As far as the a/f ratio is concerned the tuned version starts out at 13.5 (3500) and goes gradually down to 12.5 (5000) and stays there right up to 7500. The stock a/f started out at 12.5 and goes below 12 at 5000 and gradually down to 11 at 7300. The graph is posted somewhere in this forum.

I dont think you will be able to get the data you are after....very few people datalog, and of those people, even fewer will take the time to post the info. If you get one full post of that info, I'd be thrilled.

ok guys, any one got there max injector duty cycle at 6500 rpm + anything toward redline ?
Any tuners want to chime in with IDC on these vehicles?
Appreciate.

any type of real tuning is not yet widely available for the VQ37VHR.. so unfortunately no one is going to be able to provide that data to you. I have been working on a project/customer car which I have logged some runs on the dyno and it can be a great reference as far as modding goes. I need to organize and edit the entire thing and I will have it posted up within this week. stay tuned.

Yep - you got my issue right on the head, so limited and so few with capability.
Really appreciate the log data when you get it up, I am trying to get a head start on my E85 VQ ideas.
Cheers
