Tuning question
Hey guys, I am being charged 600$ for a uprev tune in socal, or $560 if I bring my friend in with me. Do you guys think this is a fair price, or know of anyone that has a better price in southern california? Thanks!
Includes dyno run of course |
Would help if you tell us where it was from.
|
Sounds about right, actually... I'm guessing specialty z?
|
I would hope if it was Specialty Z, you would be tuning with Ecutek. Seb is an animal with Ecutek.
|
I was gonna go with Saul from Nismo Knights, how much am I looking at total with Specialty Z? I believe Saul uses uprev
|
Update: I just checked their website, ECUtek is 800$ for NA :O is it a huge difference between uprev and ecutek? He charges 600$ with uprev.
|
That's 850 for the cable, license and tuning (f.i.). $650 NA. if u just want a tune. Give him a call.

Just spoke with specialty Z and the ecutek tune is 850$ for NA. They highly recommended it over uprev due to potentially higher numbers and many more features. Anybody have any input on the ecutek vs uprev topic? thanks! It's a 250$ difference

Ecutek > Uprev
Lots of threads on this, including dyno sheets of guys that made the switch and gained power. |
Check my UPREV vs ECUTEK thread, I made more WHP just switching software, JohnV did that tune for me also:)

Go to Specialty Z and use Ecutek
