Launch control for autos

Has anyone even attempted this? We know the brake light switch is why the ECU pulls throttle. I'm sure there is something in there can override the switch? I would really like to see if we can get this for "us" the auto guys. :driving:

Anyone?

Pull your brake light fuse.

That doesn't help when driving around town. LOL Oh "I'm sorry office I pulled my brake light fuse so I launch my car at 4k instead of 2k " LOL

For the track maybe? Here we have to pass inspections before running the car but to just have it at the track is only half good.

There's been a couple of write ups putting an in-line switch with either the wire leading to the fuse box or the wire leading away from the ECU. I'm trying to figure out what would work best and keep our brake lights on.

I read that also about the inline switch but that will still have the brake light not come on. I don't tune and wouldn't ever attempt it but it doesn't seem that hard to write a code that would bypass that feature in the BCM ? IDK. The can write it the the manual cars , using the clutch pedal switch :/

I think people were saying the inline switch from the ECU wiring would keep the brake lights but it did not seem to ever be confirmed. I think Phunk was working on it.
