In answer to your questions: the last two times I was out at the track, I actually had the Juke out lol, I haven't had the Z out on a course since doing this traction control feature.

To adjust it, you switch to the map that has the feature enabled, ensure VDC is off, and use the cruise control up/down to set the slip percentage. The 'percentage' slip is displayed temporarily on the oil temp gauge (you have to use the needle position to determine the relative percentage).
For the life of me, I can't recall if needle full left is 100% slip and full right is zero slip or the other way around, however I remember liking between 40-60% slip for street driving.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the input! I was told by my tuner that I need to purchase additional EcuTek Bluetooth hardware ($299) to be able to adjust slip % myself. Not sure how you get it adjustable through cruise control? Did you buy the same hard ware too to enable adjust it on cruise control?

Current I can only adjust which map to use through cruise control.

Btw how you feel about the differences on slip %? I am trying to find a sweet spot for track where it will not limit engine input when full throttle coming out of turn and also can help you to control it than factory traction control off. What are the percentages you feel and you would recommend it for track/skidpad/street? Thank you very much for the help!

I didn't get the BT dongle, the way mine works is once I'm on my traction control map, as long as cruise control is OFF I can press up and down on that rocker to adjust the slip %. No Bluetooth required. SpecialtyZ did this for me. Don't hold cancel down or you'll be changing the map as you currently do.

I found 40% grip (60% slip) to be great for the street. For track/skidpad I can't comment yet!

Car been parked a long time but I'd swear my cruise moves my launch rpm up or down by 100rpm per click of the button. Ecutek/Seb also

Yes, that would be in a map with launch control activated, and provided you are set up to launch/on the throttle.

My launch control map is different than my traction control map so I can't speak to how it would work with both active on one map. Assuming it's possible, I'd imagine that you set the slip % before you go to launch, then once you're set up to launch and on the Rev limiter, you'd adjust the limit up and down with the same button.

Update...if you have been holding off on getting the EcuTek dongle because that app was available for Apple devices Seb let me know a couple of days ago that it is now available for the Android. I just downloaded it and paired it with my dongle...:driving:

Hey man, I just get back from my tuner saying if i do press up and down on cruise control for slip % of advance traction control, I will lose the ability to have different modes(Maps) for anything else. Is that what you experienced too?

Never heard that one before...you should only lose the maps if you don't have the vdc off or the vdc is and you are using the cruise control.

No. They must be assuming traction control adjustment is a global setting, which it doesn't appear to be on my tune.

Thank you for the quick answer man!

Do you mind to elaborate how to keep both mode/map switching and traction control slip % adjustment so I would be able to explain to my tuner? Really appreciate that sir!

Unfortunately I am the wrong person to ask, as the specifics of setting the map parameters is something only Sebastian at Specialty Z who did my tune could answer.

The traction control is independent of maps...
