ECUTEK from z1

Does Z1 tune with the ECUTEK or are they still just using uprev? I tried doing some research but couldn't find anything. I really wanna tune with it because it looks like this is the way to go now

I think they're familiarizing themselves with EcuTek. Have you called them?

NefariousZ34 07-10-2015 08:16 PM

yes they have ecutek

MicntaeG35 07-10-2015 11:35 PM

Well I was gonna call them but I wanted to see if anyone here had any info on it. But that's awesome. I'll give them some time to let all of yall get tuned and test on your cars and then I'll take mine haha

Yes they have ecutek. They also have been tuning a few cars on it already.

So I haven't got around to calling Z1 yet to confirm but a guy ive been helping with his Z said he was emailing someone at Z1 and they said they were just doing uprev tunes. Are they still in the testing stages or what? I'm in no huge hurry to tune since I don't even have my parts yet which is why ive been in no hurry to contact them. Anybody have any info on this?

I was talking with one of the Tuners at Z1 a few days ago and I believe they are still working with uprev but I'm going to ask for a for sure answer next week. I know there is a shop in Charlotte that is putting put very promising numbers with Ecutek. If the 6 hours drive doesn't scare you, that may be a consideration.

might be. he showed me a quote from forged performance but the price seemed a little steep. I could've swore I had someone tell me that Z1 did the ecutek for around 850 but maybe I heard something wrong.

I know messages aren't supposed to be posted, but it's a direct quote to answer your question-

"(hooey_b),

It sure is. We normally charge $695 for ecutek tuning. Which kit are you referring to.

^^^^i think this is for the base license, NOT the ProECU...i'm pretty sure $850 is for the proecu (flat foot shifting, map switch, launch, etc)

MicntaeG35 12-26-2015 12:36 PM

thanks for that^^! well I guess I'm gonna get off my lazy @$$ and give em a call and see how much the pro ECU would be
