They are a performance shop. They all have some issues, but don't all business:rofl2:

They treat you like family and Johnny is a hell of a tuner and has many boosted VQ tunes under his belt.

I don't know if JTran is a 'better' option for you but it's definitely a good one. There's only a handful of tuners in the nation I would let touch my car. Jon @ Z1 is among them so I don't think you can go wrong either way.

How do you guys feel about Omar? I am sure that the people that have been around for a while know who he is.............

All I am saying is that there are a handful of tuning wizards out there and a beast of a build deserves one of them.

Omar from Uprev seems like a good option. Spoke to him yesterday about my rom file, and that I couldn't do remote tuning without it.

His against going fuel return, wants me to upgrade to 1000cc only. I'm expecting a email back from him today. Everyone saying fuel return due to benefits of tracking the car. Both options are $600, but injectors are a easier install.

Of course you already knew that was coming. I am sure that he mentioned my build AND how much access they had to my car over the past few years. The only things that I didn't have were uprated trans mount and return fuel system (aside from a built motor). I would venture to say that my tune was one of the safest out there since it withstood the TX heat, the freak TX winters (that were extremely cold), and my aggressive driving. I was adamant about warmup and cooldown cycles, but the master was at work for many hours working out the bugs in my somewhat intricate setup. I never asked, but I am sure that some degree of development was achieved using my car (which was the reason that I left it with them, whether it was publicized or not).

The return setup will just require a little bit of tweaking with both hardware and software, but I am sure he explained how he doesn't like return systems in a car that didn't have it from the start. That is the only drawback that I know of from his standpoint.

Yea that's the only thing he said, "no fuel return".

Trying to weight my options now. Calling local dyno shops for remote access tunes. Taking the drive is taxing on the car and the little time I have off to do it.
