MMP Wintercross video from Dec 6 2014
 

Miller runs this winter x event during the winter kind of a autocross set up on the track. I ended up taking 2nd in the stock rear wheel drive catagory.

Looks like they set the cones so you'd follow the racing line on MMP's west course. Makes me miss racing there with SCCA...

Yea it's a No Tech inspection run what ya brung type deal. They arrange the cones to take most of the proper apexs out and turn in locations. We had the usual folks that show up to the NASA or autocross events and we also had a Ford Ranger, VW Torage etc.. so the idea is to set the cones to slow things down.

Its pretty fun and weather permitting gives you something to do with the car during the winter.

First time I put music to a video "Dream Theater" excerpt...My dad hated it :eek: Im still on the fence.

Wow- a "no tech" event made the news this past summer at Pikes Peak International Raceway (PPIR). They used the pit lane to drag race and almost had a tragedy as a result. Here's a link to the incredible video:

BTW- rumor was the guy in the '57 Chevy ran without any restaints since there was an "honor system" tech at PPIR.
