Would you happen to have a photo of it in use?

I've used the GC Lock for my last two track events and I love it!

Before I actually tried it, I thought it would slide down the back of the seat, but it doesn't. It actually works better than I expected! it is minimal cost and worth purchasing if only for a test. I really like mine.

ps: I use mine in conjunction with the CG Lock.

Thanks for the info, I just ordered one to test at Sebring in two weeks.

Do not use this on track.

Unless you enjoy broken ribs or have a deathwish.

Actually found it in the SCCA solo trials rules.

It's allowed for solo autox. But I totally agree with you on track use - DO NOT USE it. Use stock seatbelt system. Autox is low risk event and I have barely even seen wheel lift on 370Zs as it's a heavy car.

That rulebook looks like General SCCA rulebook. Scca solo rulebook is this one: http://scca.cdn.racersites.com/prod/...ne_reduced.pdf page 75

How does that work with airbags? Did you remove them?

The standard seat belt does not hold you in place maybe if your less than 180 but it doesn't for.I don't what kind of corners your taking that still keep you in place but it does not hold me in place I still find myself counter steering too much since I still need to hold myself in place with the steering wheel the aftermarket seat belts would be a benefit for those who don't want to waste all that money on seats and just need a cheap solution that still makes results so Cg lock isn't a bad solution at all but it won't look as cool as real harness !

MA Motorsport Harness bar and Schroth 5-point belts

Check this group out.

MA-Motorsports 370Z Harness bar. Link

Not too tough on the install and mounts to B pillar and rear studs in the hatch area.

Schroth 5 point Belts. Link

You can add single or dual sub-straps to these.

I use the Profi II ASM FE with a single strap. Works great.

Just my 2 cents worth

Agreed, but here is how to get there instead.

1. go to MA Motorsports | Products

2. Under "Featured Products", center screen, second row is the Harness Bar for the 370Z. Click the image other than where it say 'add to cart' and it takes you to the info page for the Harness Bar.

Hope this helps.

Not sure why they tuned their page to fail on the link I posted, but when you get to that page, the link will be at the top just as posted. Silly in my opinion but I do like their products.

Even cheaper solution is to move your seat back as far as you can, yank hard and quickly on the seatbelt (locking it), then push your seat up until it's tight.

I have done this for every track event. Stock betlts, stock seats, HPDE 2/almost 3.
