2 GoPro camera setup

Who's using more than one camera to record Autocross/track days?

I got a second Gopro 3+ black for Christmas so I'm going to play with a 2 camera setup this year. I downloaded RaceRender 3 to edit the video.

What's your camera setup? Tips on things that worked well? Didn't work?

I have ran this setup once before. I was using the older gopros. One mounted on the top of the windshield, the other just below the rear wing on the hatch. I used RaceRender to put this vid together

I do one gopro on the front bumper with a suction mount and another in-car with AK370's "custom PVC" mount I built using his DIY (mounts on the bar behind our seats). The in-car gopro also has an external mic attached to it running back to my rear license plate.

I was Thinking about this same setup. I already have the in car mount and mic, and I've done the bumper position a couple of times.

I run two when I'm autoxing. My hero 3+ black goes on the front bumper and my original hero gets suctioned cupped to the rear glass looking at me and the steering wheel. I use the wifi remote to start both cameras from the driver's seat.

Another interesting location is just behind the front wheel arch. This will give you some insight into what the suspension is doing.

I put my GP3 behind the bumper to capture sound, it sounds like poop
