Just place my order, fronts 18x9 - 42 and the rears 18x10 - 25. I ask again about brake clearance and was told that 42 was the absolute max offset to clear the sport brakes.

Jeff, I believe it was you.. so, I guess that would mean semi-concave 18x9+47 for the fronts and deep-concave 18x10+30 for the rears... or would something out to 18x9+40 and 18x10+23 be a better choice?

Tirerack seems to have the 285/35-18 in stock. I'm going to check with Corner3 when the time comes since they are local to me...

Well, Cruz just said that Forgestar told him +42 is the highest they can go to clear. You want the wheels out as far as possible, so +40 and +23 are the values you'd want to maximize performance since you're moving the wheels outboard a bit.

With 47/30 being the stock offsets (touring with 19") and the rules allow up to 6.35mm difference, I ordered 42/25. 40/23 would actually be out of spec.

It's under the "Tech Bulletin" heading rather than the Change Proposal heading, so I think that means it's a done deal.

And at the top of the Fastrack it says that unless otherwise noted, changes are effective 1/1/2015.

You guys using 285 R-S3's, what air pressures you running?

The ruling on the offset change does not effect my choice of +42 for the fronts, using a 285 I was concerned about getting too far out and rubbing. If I was going 275, then +40 for sure.

41-43 front, 33-36 rear.

I think at nationals I was running 43-34

That's about the same as I ran with the RE-11's this year
