Doran racing Mid Ohio World Challenge GTS
 

Doran racing has entered their Continental Challenge GS #14 Nismo 370Z RC edition in this weeks SCCA World Challenge GTS Mid Ohio race.
The car will be badged as the #74 machine with BJZ behind the wheel.
It will be an interesting race for sure...and looking forward to the challenge on home turf.

So the class rules overlap enough that you can enter a car in Conti GS + WC GTS? Interesting, I didn't realize that was possible. Do you have to make any little changes when switching from one spec to the other? Good luck! :)

interesting. While I'm all for more Nissan racing, I just hope the team doesn't jeopardize the points race in CTSCC. You guys seem to really still be in it. Good luck in the other series!

OK. Watched the Ontario race.
Y'all were leading & went to the Pit just as a yellow came out.
Caught a penalty & the Fords & Chevy's took over.
Could you explain the penalty to me, I didn't understand it watching TV.

There was no penalty. We were coming into the pits (while in the lead) to perform our final pitstop (fuel and 2 tires)

Whoops hit that early.. As i transitioned to make the entrance into pitlane... The yellow came out closing the pits ... And screwing us royally.
Put us waaaay back in the field... Instead of about 6th on track.

Am going to try and get over to Rd ATL to see y'all run in Oct.

It is with great sadness that i bring bad news.
During qualifying... An aston martin decided to use the Chassis 001 as a stopping aide. The chassis is about written off... And the crew now has 3 days to get our other chassis ready for Road America....
