2014 Rocky Mountain Match Tour

So this weekend was rough. I arrived at the match tour location around 3pm Friday evening after I woke up due to working graveyard shifts. I worked all Friday night and then drove back from Denver to Fountain. I then competed all without sleep so it was pretty rough :icon14:. I didn't return on Sunday for the last chance qualifier because I got out of work at 7 and the qualifier started at 8. I wasn't going to break the law and I was super tired. Anyhow regardless of the fatigue I still finished second in CS behind Paul Brown who owns this:

My runs started slow and eventually got some what better. I came within 1.6 sec of Paul. Here's the results from SCCA unofficial but official now:

The only mods my car has is an Eibach front sway (stiffest Setting I believe), alignment and ZII's. This was my second event in the car. :driving:

Here's my run 3 video, my fastest time:

Paul and I (Korean Hat) talking afterwards very fun day besides being tired.

2nd at a National Event is a solid finish, especially behind the previous National Champ car (although "bought not built" is pretty lame in my book). I'm surprised the class entries were so small...CS everywhere I go is pretty well populated. What tire setup are you running?

Thanks man. I'm running stock tire sizes. However I'm thinking of running a square setup of 275's. Also thinking of getting some Penske 7500 2 way adjustable shocks. My buddy told me Jeff Stuart is running AS/BS raw times lol that's quick. So whatever I can do.

What are you running setup wise?

It's a stock car...I don't understand your bought not built. All you can do is catback, shocks and bar....

Far from stock, $5000 dollar shocks, lighter wheels, cat-back, air filters and front bar. I see what he's saying but it's all good. Makes for fun competition and I look forward to Nationals.
