When to track day with new Z

Guys,

What kind of break in is needed to break the car in?
Want to track day but 1 month old car..
Should I really put 2-4k miles on it first?

Cheers!

I believe recommended break in is 1200 miles. I'd wait till you've done that

Yeah at least go put 1-2K miles on the car first a little more gently. If nothing else you want to try to shake out any early warranty issues. And then if you're going to be doing trackdays on any kind of regular basis: upgrade the brake fluid to Motul RBF600, and see about getting an oil cooler kit installed (several mfgs make kits w/ 25 or 32 -row Setrab cores). You *can* do some light track days on the stock car, but you'd have to be careful about overheating the engine oil and/or boiling the brake fluid, and you'll probably have to take it easy on the car and/or cut sessions short.
