Harry's Lap Timer...Overlay

I have been messing around with HLT petrolhead for Android.

My question is for those that use GoPro's and HLT have you found a way to overlay the GoPro video with out importing it back into the phone to process?

I can get the overlay to work fine with the recorded phone video but, it would be so much slicker to export the overlay data with transparency so you could just overlay it much like a CNN news broadcast ticker onto your GoPro video in the editing software of your choice instead of the phone.

In addition to RR don't you also have to have a data acquisition device. Not to familiar with all the options out but, would like to keep it on the cheap. Im not looking for competition level stuff just monthly HPDE events.

Thanks Cossie. Just emailed the csv files from HLT and will try the free version of RR and see what I get.
