i am curious as to how we are roughly the same RWHP but you have headers/TB upgrade/etc. makes me worried if i go spend money on all that i may not see too much gain due to the diminishing power gains with adding of multiple upgrades.

I have no doubt you will do better than what I did on the track.

I stated about how my setup was done, the track condition + the modification
A big splitter and big aggressive wing will slow the car down...

In average it was 7 3/4 sec when I looked at my other videos with datalog.

This is why I estimate a normal full Bolton to do a flat 7sec.

yea i know i was just messing around. i read about the aero set-up and all.

i still hate this thread for coming up in winter when i don't drive my car but now all i want to do is test it out to see how i compare.

i just need to figure out how i'm going to measure mine. just a video is looking like my main option. not sure what kind of prices dataloggers run but just for a couple second test i feel a video may suffice lol

I know, I also wanted to take the car out last night to go on a drive to test the New/old 37HR engine
But its too icy right now ;(

yea i put mine in a heated garage all winter covered up. PA is the worst place in the world for cars in winter. we get random bits of snow and ice then the road crews throw so much salt that it takes multiple hard march rains to wash it away lol so instead of ruining my Z it just sits :shakes head:

but mid march when it coems back out to play i'll be sure to take a video and contribute to this thread if it's still active by then lol

figure another time from a N/A 7AT wouldnt hurt.

Z eliminator 01-13-2014 09:23 PM

I timed mine from my 1/4 mile run
I got 6.99.
370 z 7 AT full bolts on's 304 rwhp sae. 4.08 gears
It could have been quicker but im using the higher times.
that i got,
Z

Any new ones in the warmer parts of the country?

Rangerz 03-04-2014 10:38 PM

So 50 to 100 and you can be flat out from say 20 or so? I read the first page but, seems like you can have widely different times. Sounds fun ill give it a go soon.

Best would be start low. Most of the factory times were just pulled from 0-100 or 200, whatever the car can do, and they looked at the 0-60, 50-100, 60-100 etc. all at once.

TheBoomSpoon 03-05-2014 10:35 PM

Soft result just a teaser.... 7at, stock gears, remaining bolt ons from an older 1/4 mile run mine looks to be about 7.30. Again, not asking for it to be added but a cursory review of what I think mine will be. This is 321 whp on dynojet if it matters.

This includes 2-3 and 3-4 shifts so I would imagine a bit faster gunning it at 30 or so in 3rd and let it go past 50mph already in 3rd. Also stock weight but I weigh 230 so I drag it a bit ;)

More n/a would be nice..

Il try and make a video tonight gonna take the car for a little spin soon

TerribleONE 03-06-2014 01:34 AM

YouTube counts it as 5 seconds not exactly sure what it is.. 546whp 457wtq @10psi. Car ran a 11.4x @ 125 I think il have to find the time slip to confirm. This video was taken at 8PSi, not exactly sure what it makes at that boost level but here's the video. Can't embed I'm on my phone

YouTube

phunk 03-06-2014 02:48 PM

Sorry I have no idea how that happened. Lol

Masterbeatty 03-06-2014 08:52 PM

It works for me on my iPad. 5 secs flat. Nice!

synolimit 03-06-2014 09:12 PM

I need a better vid. One that's starts before 50 and goes after you hit 100 and start to back off. That's way to close on both ends for an accurate count.

Joepro 03-06-2014 09:20 PM

I will have a new one soon ;)

If you pause and start from the beginning I am doing 48mph or so and hit the rev limiter in 3rd but I can make a better vid if needed

TheBoomSpoon 03-14-2014 11:26 PM

From mototrend first 370z lists the 0-50 at 3.6 seconds and the 0-100 at 12 flat so a bone stock 2009 370 50-100 is roughly 8.4 seconds. I couldnt highlight the link from the internet post while on my tablet, ugh....
Anyway, just found that interesting and seems plausible for bone stock, maybe?

I did a 60-100, I forgot about this thread or I would have done it from 50, I did it in 4.2 from 60-100, I used movie maker to verify the time, I will try to do a 50-100 tonight... hoping to beat that 5 seconds! My limiter is set to 7800 so I can hit 100 with no shift :)

Joepro 05-26-2014 11:17 PM

did not get a change to do 50-100 but here is the 60-100...maybe tomorrow.

I'm gonna have to test mine soon and add to this list. I think the guys over at the 6Speed forums require GPS data to get on their official list.

synolimit 06-21-2014 10:01 PM

crap i need to still do this actually and go through and add people to the list. next saturday is my tune so after.

Super Werty 06-28-2014 12:06 PM

Just to remind you guys we are going too slow...lol

bumping this to remind myself now tuned i need to do a pull

2011 Nismo#91 08-13-2014 12:01 PM

It's too bad there are no public roads in the NYC area where you can do 100+ legally. Will need to get telemetry + video overlay working next time I'm at the track to do this.

Arrvaxx 08-13-2014 12:36 PM

I am SO doing this tonight. *giggidy*

Haha. Listen...I'm only a few years from needing to wear a **** bag. I don't need to start early!

jlo370z 10-04-2014 10:06 AM

i was just watching a video I made that i did a 80-130 run in 6th gear and realize it was only about 10 seconds. reminded me of this thread. I need to do this one

synolimit 10-05-2014 03:21 PM

Woooohooooo fastest NA and faster than my WRX!!!!! My dyno and 1/4 mile all suck but at least I have some power. This tells me my dyno reads low and my tires suck for the strip. I'm getting 6.5 seconds on the vid and that's with my tires chirping in 2nd. I figure that's a good tenth or two right there if i can get them hotter. This is ZL1 and C63 AMG territory so woohoo for only 302rwhp.

So where's everyone else at?????

synolimit, 2013, Nissan, 370z, 3200*, 3.7, 6 Cyl, All Motor, NA, 93, 302, 244, 14.0, 105.5, 6.5

looks pretty quick for NA... i doubt i could pull away from you in 2nd gear on the street without my 28" tires!

Yeah I need a tire mod. These RS-3's aren't that sticky unless they get real hot but I still need a better weight ratio. Azz ends way to light and it just let's go. Sadly from here on out ill only get slower adding the cage and wing and stuff. Motors done unless I do e85 and find a better tune/tuner/program that can really open the vvel up.

synolimit 10-09-2014 06:29 PM

So many "I need to do this," so little that do. Bueller Bueller?

and rain is possible again today.
