What's your current setup, wheels and forced induction setup and hp?

15 nismo, HKS Hipermax SP coils, Z1 Diff Bushings, Subframe bushings, Wavetrac. Rays 19" 57CRs, 285f ,305 R888R.
Boosted Performance single with 6870. S1SE fuel system, 1300 ID Injectors, 340 in tank twin 450s in Radium Surge.
IPP Stage two 10:1 compression, JWT S2 cams, Zspeed 6 puck stage 4. Flex tuned by Seb.
WHP is questionable now since the last dyno was done with a boost leak and a crack in the manifold flex bellow. Made 710rwhp and 623ftlbs @ 18psi. Current High boost map is 21psi with a 23psi boost cut. I have not a single doubt the car has 10 seconds in it.

I'm off the fence. Earlier I ordered a set of 17" Welds. I'm definitely running a 10 second 1/4 in 2020. I dont care if it's a 10.9 I'm running 10s.
Wheels ship in January so I'll most likely hit it in February and hopefully make another run at the half mile with traction control off this time.

:( My wheel money went to a new washer and dryer. Who is Adam LZ???? Another one of your fruity Floridian's?

If anyone is in need for a set of 18" racing wheels, let me know. I have 2 sets available!

Brand, width and offset would be helpful!

TSW Nurburgring 18x9.5 and 18x10.5. How does $600 sound for the whole set with some old slicks on it, come pick it up.

Thanks for the updated information. I'll give the 28x10.5 bias ply 17's a shot first with the raised height and alignment.

Wonder if a dynalite caliper can be packaged over the 11.5" rotor to fit a 15" wheel......

It’s been awhile since I’ve been in this thread. I currently have 305/35/18 Hoosier drag radials on 18X10.5 TSWs.... best 60ft I’ve ever got on these was a 1.7.... I was speaking with a local GTR owner who was able to pull off running 28” M&H slicks on Enkei PF01s.... was wondering if these will fit on the Zs rear with the OEM Sports/Nismo brake setup.

Awhile back people were saying the smallest u could go with the oem akebono brakes were 18” for clearance ..:but I’ve recently heard and read of 17’s fitting wondering with the 28 x 10.5 bias ply setup like sirnixalot posted. Can any of u gentlemen confirm????

The 305/45 17 is basically a 28 seeing as it's 27.8. That's the size ET street R I have to run with Weld 17x10.5s with a 6.5 offset. I haven't mounted the tires yet but the wheels fit and clear the calipers. So a 28" bias ply should be on point.

Are you on stock height/suspension? Pls post up pics if possible when you get the tires mounted and fitted....BTW...where did you order/purchase your Weld Rim from???

I'm on HKS coils and will likely raise the car to stock height for my quarter mile attempts. I also got my wheels from Jegs. Pro tip: Be prepared to wait. I waited 3+ months for mine.

Also I'm not focused on a super setup I'm just looking for a 10.xx run. If I went out and ran a 10.8 on my first run I'm done. My next focus will be sorting the suspension for occasional track days and slapping on the Welds from time to time for roll races and 1/2 mile events.
