It's almost the size of the radiator, and not as thick, but way more area covered than a 72 or dual oil coolers

AE Oil cooler

Since were on the subject of oil coolers. Im running a pitiful 24 row. I know , too small. I was told by someone at Stillen (when I first got the car) that it would be perfect for racing. Im now running 4.08 gears on an automatic, running higher revs and oil temp at an alarming temp. My question is

Is a 34 row going to be good enough ? or

Run a 34 row with a fan on it ? or

screw it, buy that huge AE cooler and call it a day.

Also , Ive got the upgraded CSF radiator ill put in at the same time.

Anyone please chime in.

And Ill also need to install a diff cooler.

Probably cheaper to add a second 25 row

what about loss of pressure running two oil coolers ?

I have a 34 row, and have only got it above 220 degrees a couple times.

I doubt you would have a pressure drop running a double cooler, but I don't know for sure. If you're worried about that sort of thing run an Accusump system. There is such a thing as over kill, and I've heard some people having issues with it. I haven't ran into this so this is just hear say.

Air ducting for the any of the coolers is something to look into as well if that hasn't been brought up yet.

The majority had it correct. Not the best report format I've seen, but it gets the job done.

Blackstone is one of many companies that test oil. At work work we use Polaris. We sample weekly on equipment. Some equipment holds 2 pints, others holds 7,000 gallons. We have used blackstone in the past, but.....

Lots of companies test oil. This is a local heavy equipment place so I thought I would give it a shot. Probably go back to L&N or Blackstone in the future though because I like the report formats better.
