You guys' logic of "screw auto-X only go to the track" doesn't work if you don't: A: Live in Socal B: Have thousands of dollars in disposable income to spend on entry fees. A typical one day HPDE is over $200 here in TX. Two day events are around $300 to start and can be as high as $600-800 (COTA). |
It's generally 250-300 a day here. Can be as much as $450 for two days at VIR.
|
Even if entry fee is free, brake pads and gas will push it to 200 along with tires. It's tough to drive so far out too, but then some people drive 3 hrs for autox, much easier to do when u are single

I tow to Marina for AX and Laguna Seca. unhook SUV from the trailer then pay for wifey to go to spa in Carmel Valley then at end of day we have dinner together in Carmel. She is happy ....I'm happy all is good. When I go to national tour event in San Diego we make it a vacation and stay in La jolla. When I go to El Toro we stay on beach in Laguna Beach. |

Ventures? $340! |
NCRC has some of the most rocking rates around. $99 a day at many tracks. Laguna and Sears are always more expensive as they are premier facilities. Buttonwillow and T Hill are usually dirt cheap but then you have to spend money and time to hual to those tracks if you live in SF Bay Area.

^ I like NCRC for cheap seat time
Until this season they use to run Laguna for $150, Thunderhill/buttonwillow for $99 I've seen $160 Infineon days etc I've ran streets of willow for $60 LOL |
