Doran Racing once again will take the 370Z Nismo RC to the most famous track in North America next week. The team will cross the famous Brickyard during the Super Ticket weekend (Conti, Rolex, Natiowide and Sprint Cup) at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Last year saw the team sitting on the pole but as fate had it.. the race was played out differently. Brad Jaeger and BJZ will once again team up or this race... And it will be Jaegers first stint at the circuit. The actions starts Thursday .. and the green flag waives on Friday Stay tuned for details |

Welp another race ... Another just ... I have no idea.
The first session which was 1:50 long we fought gear box issues. This took u away from critical setup time as we only got 45 minutes into the session and gave most of that time to Brad to get acclimated. Second session on Watkins Glen race tires we dipped into the 1:35s .7 behind p1. The track temp climbed high for quali' and brad was still able to put the RC p9. We were very stoked. The race started and on lap 1 or 2.. The black 01 camaro came across Brads nose in turn 9 and knocked the alignment out of whack. We came in for our pitstop .. It wen full course yellow... Out of nowhere. Just bad luck Lap down but got it back on waive arounds... But still put us at the tail end of the GS field With the toe knocked out of whack..the car had terrible understeer.. Especially on the oval. Picking our way through the field we climbed up ..but then quickly lost all the positions when once again the grearbox locked up in 4th gear... Even though the shift lever was in 5th. We have nooooo idea what the deal is on this... It was a brand spankin new trans that we installed in the 2nd practice. Not sure what the deal is... But somehow I was able to finally have it pop into neutral but fell back to 19th. With 10 minutes to go .. We fought back up to 13th before the race ended under yellow. Unreal. |

So how does that effect the teams standing; if at all? We know this may feel like a setback, but chins up, we know you guys can nail it on the next one! We are still cheering you all on! |
