Alternator took a dump... Not sure why how or what.
Voltage kept dropping and the car was done.

weird ... you guys had the fastest lap of the race and to end up with an issue like that derailing the run has to suck.

i predict lady luck will change direction next event, and all the bad crap Doran has had to overcome will get swept aside for some good **** and thus a podium type finish on the horizon.

Not stock and not sure exactly what /how /why...but the voltage dropped to 6volts and that was all.

before the failure, what were your laptimes? Did you meet your goal?

I never got in the car during the race and ran a total of 6 laps .Tim qualified at a 1:35.2 so on new tires I don't think it would be an issue. In the race Tim ran a 1:35.8

Hopefully things will go your way in Atlanta. You definitely have the car to do it with.

What is it with flying BMW's at Barber? I wish I could find a pic of that 138i that jumped the tire wall during ST qualifying.

Can we paint a big four leaf clover on the car? Maybe that would help with all the bad luck this car seems to have.

Are you all packing up for Road Atlanta this weekend? I'm not seeing your name on the entry list :confused:

We are not going to Road Atlanta.
At this point we are in a holding pattern until further notice.
We had the seat rented for 3 races and Barber was the 3rd race on that contract.
The next race is Mid Ohio which is in June...this will hopefully buy us a little time to get some things squared away.
We have a very solid car and I believe the Z would have shown veeeeeeery well at the RA circuit.
Mid Ohio is the teams home track and we showed well there last year.The team is hopeful that things will come together but right now we are just waiting for it to all come together.

That's tough to hear for all us fans, but can't wait to see you guys in action next :tup: Hopefully everything gets squared away like you said, and maybe there'll be a home field advantage for you :)
