Hey Mikey, had a proposal for the gang in regards to a rule change for 2014. Wanted to get some others' feedback and make a suggestion.

Remove the +1 point for taking floormats and trunk junk out. We are required to do this anyway per track safety rules so why penalize everyone for it. It doesn't really affect the Mod class at all but it sort of sucks for street class because that one extra point could be another upgrade. The only reason anyone would put the tire and mats back in their car is if they were trying to stay under 8 points.

Take my car for example:

vq37 +3
Intake +1
Exhaust + 1
remove spare +1

That already puts me at 6 points which means I could do sways and 1-ways but not sways and 2 ways. It also means I could never add headers if I did sways and 1 ways. It also means I could never drop to NT1's/R888's/Etc.

I just can't see the point of this rule since it is already a track rule that everyone has to follow.

We should probably limit street class to redline enthusiast class. And rest lumped into mod? Might be easier

Holy crap for some reason our last update did not post!

Our last event was held at Chuckwalla Raceway on September 29th!

This calm Sunday led us to a great day with an open track for the majority of time that we were there!

Most people left halfway though the day, but for the street class guys there was a lot of reward!

We had about 8 cars participate and considering that the day only had about 40-50 cars that was a pretty good slice of the pie!

3 days ago on Sunday December 24th, we had our 2nd to last event for the 2013 Nissan Competition!

It was a perfect sunday for racing with cool track temps and also a nice warm sunny day for driving!

It also marked the day we won the 2013 Enthusiast RWD championship with Martin82!!!! AKA MARTIN CHOI!

There were about 9 cars participating this event, but only 7 that signed up for the Nissan Competition!

Amazing weekend. AAA will test every aspect of your car.

SoCal Nissan drivers have done very well winning RTA in street and enthusiast and taking a win at GTA street + one more podium with a Silvia. (maybe if we can get some decent GTR drivers then we will win Modified classes as well!-as of right now the super charged/turboed 240, 350, and 370 crowd is still faster than the GTR owners.)

We had a crazy turn of events, and what seemed like the most eventful ending of the season!

We had about 8 cars out in the field!

In Modified class, Chris Willard suffered from brake issues all weekend, cracking a brake rotor from the insane amount of temperature change in the super cold weather conditions. Sunday allow him and his crew to change the rotors and pads to a Power slot and Hawk setup! He ended up taking the overall time of the day in his HR 350z!

Unfortunately I wasnt able to get a lap in without instructing so I just threw in my fastest lap with a passenger.

In Street class, there was 3 Competitors this weekend and they all had massive improvements on laptime!
