Had my second competition this weekend at the Lincoln NE ProSolo competition. I was disappointed to see no other Z's at this event either. Am I just in a sea of Corvettes only?
ProSolo was a different animal than the event I competed in back in April. I didn't really understand the difference between Solo and ProSolo when I arrived. Either way I had a blast and learned a lot again. I'm hoping to attend another local event before the end of the summer and possibly get to do a ride along with one of the faster drivers to see what I can learn by watching. I learned that the lines I picked initially for the ProSolo course were just atrocious and I picked up a total of 6 seconds on the left mirror of the course over the weekend and a total of 5 seconds on the right mirror of the course. This put my fastest runs just about at the slowest runs of the other competitors at this national event. My goal is to catch them and just generally improve my driving with seat time. |

I'll be around in my Z... Grenada match tour, Wilmington champ tour, Blytheville prosolo, and possibly Nationals. Also in other news, I won my first national trophy this month at the Bristol Match Tour (3rd of 13). Also Eric S (Nismosis) placed 2nd. We're both in B Street 370Zs. First place was an excellent driver in a c5 corvette and the course favored corvettes(torque and better differential). Here's my run: https://youtube.com/rotarypower86 https://youtu.be/O5JjN1uBx-g |

Pretty sure I met you....I was in the blue STU 350Z. |
Video from this last weekend's ProSolo in Toledo. Runs were good enough for first place in ASP. Admittedly the competition wasn't too strong in ASP but I'll still take it.

Hi guys I need some help. I just got a set of Re71r 18/275/35 tires on 18x 9.5 and 18x10 rims. I have -2.7 camber up front with -2 in rear. One thing that I am seeing is that I am not getting the tires to roll all the way over to the edge in the front or rear. I have my fonts at about 33psi and rears at 27. Question is can I keep going lower in pressure to get roll over? Or will my contact patch suffer from too low psi? I dont have a pyrometer to help me at the moment.

Allright guys...I have to get a set of pads that will good for autocross, but quiet on the street. Wife doesn't like the Carbotechs that I use for the track AT ALL! hah! Is there anything out there or do I stick with the stock pads? I am trying to avoid changing pads for track/autocross/street. I understand that track pads are a different animal, so Im hoping that there is a street/autocross pad that will work for both. TIA
