do you plan on doing multiple days at pitt race complex again this year? also have you ever stopped up when they do the autocross there?

I think I may do something up there this year.

Those concerns are primarily just for tracking conditions. For autocross purposes, the base model is perfectly fine, and you shouldn't have any overheating issues.

I ran my car (no oil cooler, stock brake fluid) all year last year (including a ProSolo event in 105 degree heat) and never had any problems.

Thanks for the input. I will probably just jump in there and make myself a fool. Lol. I have had a few track days with sports bikes so I kinda know what to expect but then again do I?

Yea, I'm going to try to do as many as I can. Might even check out an autocross too.

-2 or 2.2 is was I was thinking about. How much toe out you got?

I have .05 out total in front, zero toe and - 1.5 camber in the rear.

Well I did jump right in and did an autocross event a few weeks ago and had a great time. I did learn that I do not know how to drive my Z like I thought on the handling aspect. I was 6 seconds behind the best time out there. I learned a lot on my first time driving it. Good news is the number 1 and 2 spots were 370Z's.

very nice

I wonder if i'll have to put my regular exhaust back on. I see in the rules there's some rule about 100db max? wtf? lol

100db is only certain sites for locals, but it is strictly enforced for all National events. 100db is louder than you think...

my FI exhaust maxed out the mic on the iphone which is a max of 105db I believe.

actually I've been looking at buying a db meter for $25 on amazon based on curiosity lol

03threefiftyz 02-27-2015 08:52 AM

fwiw I have FI cbe and lth's and was only around 92db.

Don't forget the decibel scale is not linear but exponential so 100db is stupid loud.

My full tilt BSP car with only 1 resonator and a single ti muffler blew 99-100 and it is full retard loud.
