Sixpax, you'll be fine, just ask someone to ride along and take advantage of the novice walk, etc. Honestly, I don't even usually walk the course except for national events. Occasionally I do a walk or partial walk at Fedex. I wouldn't at all recommend that for a newbie. I treat locals as an exercise in looking ahead, which you are forced to do if you haven't seen it before.

Thank you sir !

Are you going to be at Event#1 at FedEx ? ... I think it is June 8th ...

Could you guys give me some feedback on my driving? See the vid below. This was my event last weekend on Dunlop z2's, a broken exhaust and blown rear diff bushing. I came in 9th losing to a few BRZ's and an EvoX.

Despite it being wet out I think I could have done better but would like to hear some feedback on what I could be doing wrong.

What you gonna replace yours with? Whiteline bushing?

cossie1600 05-12-2014 11:32 AM

How do you know you blew your diff bushing? Does it clunk?

Masterbeatty 05-12-2014 12:57 PM

I am not sure, i have been looking at whiteline but i saw energy has them too for alittle cheaper.

It doesnt clunk at all normal driving, but when i launch it wheel hops like that sh!ts going out of style. I also had this horrible smell i couldnt figure out where it was. then i saw drips on my muffler pipe. then when i jacked up the car i saw it dripping from the rear bushing. Its black and fuggin nasty.

Yessir! I will probably buy them this week and install them the weekend of the 24th as I have another event this Sunday at Thompson. I won't launch the car though and no drifting on the end of the day fun runs. :shakes head:

LMK how you like them. For the price Ill go with them over the whiteline bushings. But I do have an appointment with the dealership. They said I am still under warranty :happydance:

I would go too but I don't want this to happen again so I'm just doing the upgrade.

What tires and sizes is everyone running, im intrested in a 370z for either CS or BS with the nismo, i'd like to know if anyone has ran a 295/35/18 on all 4 corners on stock suspension or at least a 285, im assuming that an 18" would fit over the brakes since ive seen a few guys running them.. anybody running wide rivals in stock class yet?

295/40-18 square at stock ride height no problems. Only thing I've noticed is a slight rub on the fender liner under hard cornering.

That's a good size tire, only issue nobody makes them anymore I'm thinking running the rival or the new kumho whenever it's released.
Anyone on here running a nismo at a national level? If so how do you well do you compete with the s2000?
