Running CS at the moment. What class would I be when I get an oil cooler installed?

How are your AST's doing?

They're not.....ordered 1st week in Feb, still waiting :shakes head:

When I dropped my front pressures to anything below 37, i really crush that outside edge and that's when I corded my last set. I did have about 40 runs on them though, but I've kept my pressures up above 36 ever since in front...

Haven't tried the high rear pressure though...but having run on concrete for the first time in this car last week in Toledo, the car will need help rotating in Lincoln. There was NO rotation at all on the concrete...heck, only slightly recall any wheel spin so with the BIG grib on concrete, all the tail wagging under throttle disappeared, not much inside wheel spin...but also NO rotation

yup rub it in, I drove a mini cooper s and hit a top speed of 46mph last weekend, that was consider a good course.

Of course it is either doing that, or nothing, or wake up at 5AM and drive 150 miles to an autox.

People regularly drive 150 miles to run at our events just because they are so much more fun. Good speed, long course, lots of runs, no PAXing. We occasionally get people from NY/NJ drive 4 hours! Ever run into Lee Shelton and his yellow Z06?

Guess he likes the fast courses :)

He's been up here twice this year. Both times he has won but only just. The last event he attended he was behind by a few tenths and then pulls out a spectacular drive for his last run getting the win by a tenth and blowing his diff seals out in the process. He's always breaking something, he just pushes his car that hard.

Ran the second divisional event in Dallas last weekend. The car was crazy loose the whole time and no matter what we did in terms of tire pressures, spraying, driving style, did any good. All around very frustrating and very very slow. Got back to Houston and took the tires of the car and discovered this:

Also found this laying around....

Even though the tire is roast, but at least you had fun. Autox yesterday got as low as 16mph! YES 16MPH. I had to downshift the car to get out of the slow corner as I ran out of torque, in a 370Z!!! ARGGG

For those of you in the New England area there is an un-paxed event this Sunday run by Track Club USA. See here for info.

cossie1600 08-04-2010 08:59 PM

Too bad it is not on Saturday, I have to do a local event on Sunday (2 miles from my house instead of 150 miles)

Getting this thread back up top.

The shocks are still not completely on the car. It has been a nightmare trying to make these shocks legal, getting the overall and compression lengths correct. However, we are getting closer and should have them on the car for nats. Whether or not they'll be dialed in correctly is a different story...
