Why you guys buy 370z?
 

i just smoked a 370z with just a few mods on my 350z last night, so my question is why you guys buy a 370z when it cost 10-15K more? im not offending if you were a member on here, just curious.

I am somewhat cross-eyed; when I looked at the 370Z, it looked like a Porsche! :)

You remind me of kids buying the latest, greatest, biggest sports-bike. They think they can smoke anyone with a smaller, older model. However, they do not understand that the 'tool' is only as good as the operator. I bet that if you owned a 370, you could smoke a comparable, stock 350. Or, simply put, if you could clone yourself, and your clone will drive the 370, he would smoke you.

If you smoked a 370Z, more power to you. Your 350 is perhaps faster, and if it is, just be happy and proud of it.

For me, (who also owns a 350), the VASTLY superior interior.

Oh, I just read your post again. You did say that yours has some mods. You are basically, in my opinion, comparing apples and oranges. Also, no matter how fast yours could be, it is still an older car. Don't get me wrong, ours will also be old in a few years.

I bet you that my oldest modified Porsche can smoke your 350Z. I bet yah that my brother can beat your big brother. :)

^ right. I mean, this thread implies the only thing people care about is how fast in a straight line a car could go. If that were the only thing of importance, I would have a motorcycle, or a little rat rod with a chevy engine and a blower, etc.

im not trying to say that the 370z is a piece of sh*t car, im just saying with 10-15K you can build a better/faster car on a 350z than a 370z

LMFAO...I used to go on Sherdog, a MMA site, a couple years ago. And it got really nasty. A bunch of short-tempered, thin-skinned guys who don't get laid threatening each other with the hackneyed, "say it to my face and I'd whoop your ***" over the internet for God's sake!!! Flaming, name calling, quick-witted insults, 1-uping etc. were commonplace. Then the mods cleaned it a bit, though there's still the occassional you "dumb f*ck newb, white belt, blah blah blah."

But yeah man, 350 > 370 :tup: Did you create an account to stir up the waters? I saw your post count, 1, and that's what I assumed.

brand new 08 350z roadster on the lot for 48k. thats 15k more than i spen for my 370z

Why did you buy your 350Z? Your reasons are probably the same as ours for buying the 370Z

but on a more serious note. SAME TEAM SAME TEAM SAME TEAM.

bfd, with 10-15K I could build a car that would knock both Zs silly. Again, not all about straight line speed. :rolleyes:

im not saying its all about speed, looks is also important when people who want to own a sport car

Uhh, the whole basis for your argument was that your 350 is better because you made it faster. If you know looks (as well as other things) are important too, then you should know why we would buy this car.
Warranty, improved interior, improved functionality of the hatch area, updated exterior looks, improved handling, just to name a couple.

beauty is in the eye of the beerholder. I get tons of positive compliments on the car and the color... even from 350z owners.

well then drive a car you can afford. I hear hyundai is doing some good things now. New for New there isnt much diff between a 350z and 370z for similar specs.

What do you think comparable 350 models cost when they were new? The 2008 base was $28.5 versus the 370s $29.9. Yeah, they really went crazy with the price :rolleyes:

seeing as how school is out and he had to come here to brag about a 370z which may or may not have known he was racing I think the answer to your question is obvious. ;)

are maybe he means he started a small fire with an intake, exhaust and literally smoked a 370z. mmmm smoked fish sounds good.
