At about two laps of hard driving, one on some tracks, your oil will probably hit 280F and the car will give you a lower rev limit. At 290 it should give an even lower rev limit if you keep going. Short shifting will help a lot, but the oil cooling is inadequate. If you're ok with that, have fun. Otherwise, get a cooler.
Stock brakes are fine if you go easy. That may be frustrating to you though, so same story. But you can swap fluid, pads, and add ducting and be out a little time and money.
