lightweight 18 inch rims for track use

Hi guys,

I'm looking into buying 18 inch rims that i can use for the track on my sport package brake 370z. I want to run a square setup preferably 275 all around and I was wondering what rims are out there that are light and (relatively) affordable. What are some of you track junkies running?

Thanks in advance,

Forgestar F14s, 18x10 +34. Need a 15-25mm spacer in the rear to push them out a bit, but you will need that with any square setup.

My other set of wheels are 4 rear 350z track rays that I had widened to 9.5". They use the same rear spacers as my forgestars.

they are 18x9.5 +46

thanks for the reply mike, I will look into forgestars, do you know what are some good offsets for our car in 18 inch. Im looking at enkei rims and am not sure what offset would be good for a 370 on stock suspension.

Depends on the width of the rims, but something close to what I have

So they purpose of the spacer in the rear is to clear the brake calipers? Do you also need extended lugs?

What if you go with 275 all around on 18 x 9.5- would you still need spacers at that point?

No, the purpose of the spacers in the rear is because the wheel is extremely tucked in, it fits just fine without them. I have extended lugs and you need them with spacers. If you go 18x9.5 all around and all with the same offsets, you will need some size of spacer to put the rear wheels back out or they will be extremely tucked in.

Evo forum is actually a good place to find 18's for running square, in 10-10.5" widths @ ET15-ET20 offsets. Try for 10.5's and go with 285 over 275 if at all possible.
