More tests to come during next month. My target is to get world best 370z NA record then I will go FI.

After doing some runs yesterday ... and with little more power, I was able to run 1.90 60ft .. and with spin in 2nd gear ... I run 12.72 ...

But the bad result was ...... see the attached picture ..

cracked flexplate?

Yes .. it's almost become into two pieces. Time to upgrade.

How did it feel to let you know it was cracked?

Did you recently took the engine/transmission apart to mod it for more power?

Oil leak started from the torque converter.. After the runs on track and spinning the tires on 2nd. So I decided to come with semi slicks tires next time .. While driving back I noticed some smoke in fuel station which was caused by the oil on the exhaust. Next day checked and noticed the crack, so removed everything.

Nope. The car is only with bolt ons.

How many miles on the Z?

Around 70 K.

Did you break torqued it to high rpm on the drag to cause the flex plate to crack?

It happened during the drag day.

i also cracked my flex plate
it make a sound like the rods are hitting the block
a banging sound at the back of the engine block
GTM heat treated mine and so far it has held up
make sure you get new bolts when you install the new plate
the torque converter is a pain to fill and it takes a few times to get the tranny fluid full.
the time to beat is 12.343 @ 114.14 ( 183.8 KM/H) for a 7 AT
Jnaut ran a 12.28 with a 6 MT

You guys with top times are all 0 elevation track im here at 1200 elevation trying to break the all motor record no cams or anything like that....0 elevation I would be right up there fellaz haha!
