^^^ Nice work! Quickest all stock/street tire 370Z in the Universe. :bowrofl:

Not surprisingly it's from an auto: predictable, controlled, quick shifting.

Nice work. If i were you i'd be scared to modify it. Will prob get slower. Even with the open diff is kinda hilarious. I wouldn't road course with the open diff though.

another low ET from florida. i'm still convinced all tracks run downhill there.

We don't have downhill around here, it's all flat as can be.

obviously FL is flat. regardless of that, lately FL people have posted some low times. 12.91 stock is pretty ridiculous. I think I need to go run in FL

I'm sure it's because we are so close to sea level.

Thanks.

Some of the guys here in Florida said that their car ran slower with thousands dollars of bolt ons and exhaust. Guess the manufacturer know a little more than the average Z enthusiast

So you pulled a 1.9 while I pulled a 2.0, I trapped 1mph higher than you, but you beat me by 3 tenths at the 1/4. Weird. Congrats on the 12sec pass!

ssmoked: Did you let the computer shift for you, or did you tag it on your own? Curious to know what works best.

It took me about 4 visits (~25 runs) to the drag strip to achieve that time. Here is what I did:

1. Real burnout with brake fuse pulled
2. Slightly brake torque 500rpm above idle
3. Manual up shift 200 rpm before redline

Not hard to do, but you need perfect traction at the launch
