Honestly the Genesis is not a bad car. We have 2. One is gonna be supercharged Street/Modified class and the other will be twin turbo unlimited class.

As for comparing the two, the 370z do have some major advantages over the genesis.
The tranny is better, Engine is better built, and the response in the 370z is superior.

However with some aftermarket parts and tuning, the Genesis can be a very strong competitor.

A full bolt-on 370z would still have the edge over a full bolt-on Genesis, I was very impressed with the Genesis when I test drove a couple while searching for a car. I just did not like the interior at all.

1. Was it a V6 or 2.0T?

2. Was it modified?

3. How the hell did your potenzas last that long? I'm at 28k and I'm almost done with my second set.:icon17: :(

I can speak on #3. I have just a hair under 27K and I have only replaced my rears. The fronts still have significant life left. My rears were shot.....the inside was pretty chewed up (down to the belts, lol), but the NISMO has significant camber in the rear. The explanation the techs gave me is for increased cornering response. I was like, ok whatever.............:ugh2:

My fronts had decent tread dept left but were starting to dry rot, got a deal on almost new fronts and replaced at 24k.

are you sure you guys are driving your cars the way they were meant? :stirthepot:

I have a friend that has a bolt-on 2.0T with just about everything except an upgraded turbo. Even with launch control he can't break out of the 14's. Same with another 2.0T racer. Great lookin cars but pretty slow IMO. Never seen a V6 model at the track yet.
