Do you have any mods? That's a pretty good 1/8th time!

5700lucas 04-15-2011 01:58 PM

umm little mods....test pipe, muffler del, afe stage 3 cai, 75 shot dry nos... thats it! What about pully kit? Headers? I really want 7s bad!!!

m4a1mustang 04-15-2011 02:03 PM

Drag radials will get you there.

5700lucas 04-15-2011 02:10 PM

That’s what everyone is saying but i already have 295 Nitto Invos on it and traction is not a problem at all!!! Very little spinning off the line! any other ideas??

You are only cutting a 1.94 60' You could easily get it down to the 1.7s on drag radials with a good launch. That would just about put you there.

Kcuba370z 04-15-2011 02:26 PM

Drag Radials and a 100 shot

jnaut 04-15-2011 08:54 PM

i run 7.90 @ 90.17 all motor. Steve is correct it will take some tires and a lower 60ft to achieve 7.XX on motor. The r/t is irrelevant to e/t in a typical run unless you are in bracket racing.

jnaut 04-15-2011 08:58 PM

You only trap 84 with a 75 shot?? sorry but i dont like invo's that much as I cut 1.81 on my re-11's.

Install 4.08 gears/ flywheel and a tune will bring you close if not there

that's a really good 1/8 . I'm not really familiar with NOS but what's your best 1/4 ?

Jnaut

have you ever put your car on a dyno because your time is the best time I know for a non-turbo/SC.

I have a bad 60 ft because of my tires, didn't go below 2.3 yet and got 13.4 ( 13 after the correction)

and how faster did your car get after the 4.08 gear and the flywheel ?

Z eliminator 04-16-2011 05:06 AM

My 1/8 is 8.185 @ 89.24 with 1.869 60 ft times and mines a 7 AT.
bolts ons and there is more speed in it.

5700lucas 04-16-2011 07:43 AM

z-eliminator

What bolt ons are you talking about? Mine is a 7 auto as well!

I have never Dyno the car sorry.

dynoed 319 @ 8k on a mustang dyno. as for the gears/flywheel...its a whole different car.

Z eliminator 04-16-2011 12:08 PM

every possible bolt on. cats, CBE G3 intake , pulley, motordyne maifold, and 4.08 gears with GTM converter.
last dnyo it made 309 SAE RWHP on a dyno jet
