Preparing a car for track?

Hello, can we have a sticky about what to do or mods needed to prepare the 370z for track without much complications or unexpected mechanical issues?

For example, my celica (for total must) needs to have larger Moroso oil pan, replace lift bolts, and replace valves with stronger ones.

Checking fluids, tire pressure, and wheel balancing/alignment is a given.

Agree with everything, except you're fine with the stock tires in noncompetitive track days and any autox. If you want to be competitive, then the list is more extensive and a tire change is also included.
